Last updated: March 12, 2026

ARC ("Automatic Replay Compiler") is a fan-made application for browsing publicly available competitive battle replays. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data ARC collects (very little) and how it is handled.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. ARC does not require an account, login, email address, or any personally identifiable information to use.

2. Local Storage

ARC stores the following data locally on your device:

This data never leaves your device. It is stored using standard platform mechanisms (SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS, localStorage on Web) and is not transmitted to any server.

3. Network Requests

ARC fetches publicly available battle replay data and related metadata (species, items, formats) from an API server. These requests do not include any personal information, device identifiers, or tracking parameters.

4. Crash Reporting

ARC uses Sentry, a third-party error monitoring service, to collect crash reports and error data. When an error occurs, the following technical information may be sent to Sentry:

This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs. No personal information, usernames, favorites, settings, or browsing activity is included in crash reports. You can review Sentry's privacy policy at: sentry.io/privacy.

5. Other Third-Party Services

Apart from Sentry (described above), ARC does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No additional data is shared with third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

ARC does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or stored remotely, ARC is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can clear your favorites and cached data at any time from the Settings screen within ARC. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since ARC does not collect, store, or process any personal data on remote servers, there is no personal data for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. All data resides on your device and is fully under your control.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
